words that can earn them money. You must have heard of freelance bloggers. These are the people who blog for your brand.

1. Create your online existence

The reason I have suggested this tip at the beginning of my post is that it is the most imperative step to start with. Especially, for a newbie freelance blogger, an online presence is a must. Just get a domain and register it (my suggestion to go with .com).

A great source I recently came across is Airtasker where you can get in touch with people looking for your services. Simply get their tasks done and earn money! The platform is currently working within Australia if you are looking 'in-person' tasks, however, there is a remote option as well which allows you to work online.

Secondly, create social media profiles. You don’t have to make on each and every social media platform, focusing on the major ones will be good enough. Try LinkedIn (one of my all-time favorites as a professional), Facebook and Twitter.

Gain knowledge by reading articles and posts of others in your field of writing or expertise.

Your blog is similar to your customer. You need to cater to it in the same manner. Offer your portfolio, regular posts and be consistent.

2. Do Guest Posts

Guest posting is one of the most effective ways to build website traffic as well as to generate awareness about what you do.

This will also be helpful to build your portfolio. Check out some authoritative websites and offer your pitches to potential businesses or clients.

3. Focus on your Niche

Answer this question: what is the topic that you are interested to talk about? Or to learn about it? This topic can be your blogging niche. You just need to make sure that whatever you are writing about, must be interesting to the readers as well.

Niche blogging stands you out and portrays you as an expert on a particular subject. And everyone likes to work with an expert.

4. Develop Contacts

Surround yourself with people who know about your efforts, your journey. They will be an asset to you throughout your way. They will be your professional buddies. You can find such people on social media. Just keep your radars on and search such people and comment on their posts.

5. Practice hard and fast!

To be a freelance blogger, the more you practice, the more you will be able to minimize your errors and improve your typing speed.

Practice does make you perfect. Through practice, you might be able to achieve the speed of transforming your thoughts onto the paper in no time. Make sure to proofread your content before posting it out. Use Grammarly to make your life easier.
