Though I love to get indulged in fantastical fictional stories, every now and then but this one was truly memorable to read. Forbidden Love Memoir allowed me to peek a glimpse into the author’s life through an interesting angle that allowed me to learn a lot about myself in the process.
You might call it navel-gazing..but I would like to call it too captivating to put down till the very end.
As much as I adore fiction, this memoir really has a massive emotional impact on the reader, as it has the edge of being true and it was just a pleasure to be able to explore it.
The memoir featured a range of emotional scenarios from a solo struggle, venture and fun. ‘Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be. The future’s not ours to see...but the past sure is.’ Surely it is.
The tales are engrossing, unbelievable, heart-breaking at times. Most importantly, they are raw and honest, invites you to plug on the author’s own highly personal experiences while you meditate on yours. The events depicted in this memoir are just full of life!
The challenges of life became sustenance when the author found himself in situations that altered his life forever. In the face of love, hardship, courage, he realized why he had always inclined towards one soulful moment of his life – and what it had cost him.
Blending Thomas’ compelling and intriguing life story with aspiring insights and charisma, The Comeback Kid will leave you exploring your own life and quite possibly, move you to take your decisions in a more courageous and passionate way.
Well, when I chose to read this book, the first thing I observed is that this is not something I usually expect from a non-fiction book. It has a lot of facts about the places the writer had been, Arab’s lifestyle and the plight of women in that region. I assumed everything in front of my eyes. The emotional flashpoints of the tale are emotionally moving. The couple’s adoring expressions radiated passion and determination that met a tragic-romantic saga.
Can’t wait to explore the author’s sci-fi blended memoir curios tales, will be reviewing in my next post.
